We have created a multi-dimensional IP protection system to comply with GMP requirements and defend against the release of privileged information. This system takes into consideration physical security, IT security, asset disposal security, project information security, third-party security, and human resources security.
Physical Security
We have developed a system that limits access to sensitive areas and secures entry with biometric identification. A comprehensive video monitoring system is in place to monitor and record activity throughout the facility. We have established an authority management system to grant access based on classification level. Furthermore, project raw materials and samples are labelled with unique codes so that their contents would only be known to those assigned to the project.
IT Security
Hiray’s IP protection plan integrates software and hardware, deploying a combination of informatization, digitization, intelligence and blockchain technology to a variety of management platforms. These platforms include project management, enterprise resource management, laboratory management, document management, and file management. Each management platform divides responsibilities and powers, strictly controlling access rights to ensure the security of confidential information. Furthermore, our system is equipped with a world-class firewall and three-level backup and recovery technologies to ensure data security and archiving.
Human Resources Security
From hiring to resignation and post-employment, traditional human resources management methods are combined with the latest information technology methods to implement IP protection management measures. These include confidentiality agreements, non-compete agreements, intellectual property declarations, and background checks, etc.
Project Information Security
From the initiation of the project to the delivery of the products, all confidential information involved in the entire project cycle is subject to hierarchical authorization management. Information technology methods are used to control the sharing and transmission of information, while ensuring that project information is timely and complete.
Third Party Security
The management of suppliers, outsourcing vendors, contractors, and agency partners is integrated into the unified management of the IP protection system. Measures such as background investigations, and confidentiality agreements are used. Furthermore, qualification audits are conducted to identify and reduce risks to our customers’ intellectual property.
Asset Disposal Security
A strict asset disposal approval process with relevant SOPs has been established to clarify the protection level of assets in information security. The responsibility for all assets is assigned to a person and their department. This system is designed to ensure that no sensitive information is put at risk due to equipment disposal.
Introducing Hiray's Director of IP Protection
Xiong Jian Chen graduated from Beijing University of Applied Sciences in 2009 with a degree in network engineering. He has 13 years of IT-related experience, including 5 years of network security training and management experience, and 5 years of IT project management experience.
He has served as a lecturer in a network security training institution, a large-scale chemical manufacturing company, the laser holographic anti-counterfeiting industry, and he was the IT leader of a modern agricultural enterprise.
Xiong Jian has an in-depth understanding of the overall construction of internal and external intellectual property protection systems.
